Hi David,
The name John DAVIES is very common in my family. And my DAVIES also are
"joiners" by profession. They belonged to the profession at least since the
early 1800s and still were joiners in Philadelphia when they came to the US.
Do you have any dates for your John Davies? I have a total of nine in my
database. The one that would be about the same time period is John H.
Davies born ca 1875 at Liscard. His parents are John Davies and Annie
Elizabeth Norman. He had a brother Frederick born ca 1874. I don't have
anymore information on John H. Davies, so I don't know the name of his wife.
Let me know if you recognize any of these other names or if you have a date
of birth for your John Davies.
Thanks,
Susan
