Fellow Littler researchers we are again indebted to Anne Clark-Stewart for
posting BMD's for the period 1827-1837. I need to have a connection to
these folks to my bunch. My known ancestors are David and Harriet (Davies)
Littler born 1818-19 in Caaerwys and Ysciefiog (respectfully) with seven
children born in Holywell between 1838 and 1861. Their names are: John,
Mary, Joseph, Anne, Daniel, Thomas and William (my grandfather).
I remain certain that the Litters posted by Anne Clark-Stewart are related to
me and would like to find out how. If anyone can make the link please
contact me on or off list.

I have just discovered that an ancestor was born in the Parish of
Eskwide, in the Township of Eskwide, in the County of Flint.
This is great - but where is it. He was born about 1785, but I can't
find a mention of the place at all. And nothing on the IGI.

Dear fellow PARRY researchers,
The following is the only PARRY marriage I found for 1826. I believe that
the marriages from January to Juneof that year were not on the microfilm.
The years beetween 1820 and 1830 were not filmed in sequence, therefore a
few years had 6 month segments which were missed and 1829 was missed
althogether.

Sorry, the first subject had the wrong year. it definitely is 1826.
Dear Listers,
Earlier this Spring, I mentioned that I had found a few unusual burials in
the Holywell Churchyard. The churchwarden, Geoff Harrison, explained to me
when I was visiting that many people wanted to be buried there because of
the proximity to St. Winefride's Well. I guess this Catholic priest was one
of those 44,000 people.
The Reverend Edward Wright, Priest of the Roman Church, Holywell, buried
April 13, 1826, aged 75 years, by John Jones, vicar.
I hope someone was looking for him.
Kindest regards,
Anne Clark-Stewart
