Dear Angela,
Thank you very much for the information on the church at Brynford.
My relatives were born there about 1846 to 1868, so I don't think that those
records will help me. Is there any way to look at records for the timeframe
in which I am interested?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Dear Angie,
Thank you for your informative update.
I will put them on the list as I come to them in my notes.
Regards,
Anne Clark-Stewart
PS I would also be interested to know if there is a cemetery at the Parish
Church in Brynford. My great-great grandparents lived there and had many
children; about 10 that I have found so far. There are many large gap
years, so I am wondering if very young children died but I have not been
able to associate them with families, as there are no references to
relatives in the burial registrations.
Any help most appreciated.
Angie,
You seem to know something about the Greenfield cemetery. Might I assume
that it still exists? I am interested in some people who may have been
buried there. If there is any other information concerning the cemetery
that you are aware of, I would appreciate hearing it.
Joan

Subject: Strangers and Catholics buried in Holywell and Whitford
Dear Listers,
When I was transcribing the BMD records for the parishes of Holywell and
Whitford for my PARRY and JONES relatives, I found an assortment of
"strangers" who had met an untimely end in the area, as well as numerous
"Catholics" who were buried in the Parish Churches.
My first question is - Should I put these records on this list or is there a
better site to do so?
My second question is - Why would Catholics be buried in a non-Catholic
Churchyard? There is even a local Cathloic priest buried in the Parish
Church of Holywell!!
Your help would be appreciated.

Dear fellow PARRY researchers,
Sorry to mislead you on the last e-mail. There were a few marriages on film
01014789, but only for the second half of the year and copied out of
sequence. I just found my notes for them as I was getting ready to do the
next year. So here they are:
abbreviations:
OTP = of this parish
BOTP = bachelor of this parish
SOTP = Spinster of this parish
bach = bachelor
spin = spinster
wit = witnesses
(X) = his or her mark.
Page 12 Joseph PARRY, widow(that's what was written) OTP, and Margaret
JONES widower (that was also exactly as written) OTP, married by banns on
July 27, 1822 by John JONES, vicar.
Joseph (X) PARRY Margaret (X) JONES
wit: Thomas EVANS Susannah (X) DAVIES
Page 18 William PARRY BOTP and Sarah DAVIES SOTP married by banns on

John (X) THOMAS Ellen (X) PARRY
wit: Samuel (X) FOULKES and Elizabeth (X) JONES
Those were all of the PARRY marriages for 3Q and 4Q 1822. I did not capture
the JONES information which was available here, unless they were marrying a
PARRY, as this was only part of the year.
