Audrey,
The place you are looking for is Moriah Row at Broughton, near Wrexham,
Denbighshire not in Denbigh town. Broughton is in the "old" coalmining area.
The row is probably a short street (there are only five homes in the row)
and the census also lists a Pentre Moriah Chapel nearby, possibly at the end
of the row. Nearby there is a "Temperance House"
and next to it is "Pentre School". I looked up the LDS 1881 CD set and
selected "Neighbours" to the Rogers' in Moriah Row.
You will not find the birth records of the parents as they are pre-1837 but
you should be able to find birth details for the children. You should also
be able to find the marriage details. All should be listed in the Wrexham
registration area as they were all born in Broughton as were the parents.
Hope this information helps,
Regards,
John

Subject: [DEN] ROGERS FAMILY of DENBIGH
Hitting a brick wall can anyone HELP? I have Samuel Rogers and his
wife
Mary Ann Rogers and children in 1881 living at Bryn Carney, Moriah Row,
Denbigh.
Wales, but am unable to track down any Marriage or Birth information for
either, does anyone know if Moriah Row was a Street or just a Row of
houses?
Is it still standing? Any
info or leads regarding this family would be gratefully accepted, Thanks,
in
anticipation of a lead.
