I have been chasing up a copy of the following book in New Zealand. I
thought I had caught up with one <g> only to find that the library concerned
had lost it !!!
If anyone has a copy of "The pedigrees of families in North Wales Counties"
by JE Hughes I would be extremely grateful for any information it may have
on the GOODMAN family of Ruthin, Denbighshire. In particular any mention of
a GOODMAN female marrying a MATTHEWS would probably send me over the moon. I
still haven't found the details of a Goodman MATTHEWS who was born in Ruthin
in 1793, but I'm not giving up just yet.

Morning Gail
Just a thought, have you made any inquiries in the Parish of Llanrydd.
Now only a dot on the map next to Ruthin, but I believe at the time you
are looking at was the mother church for Ruthin. Last time I was there I
am sure that I saw Goodman graves there, but I did not take a lot of
notice.... Hope this made be of help
