Many, many thanks Alwyn for this new and unexpected information.
Can I ask
if this was from a churchyard in Bryn Rhys itself? and what denomination
was
the church please?.
I understand from some downloaded info' about Llansanffraid Glan Conwy that
there was a Congregationalist Chapel in Bryn Rhys. Is this where the
grave
is located?
Sorry, I should have mentioned that the grave is in St. Ffraid's Parish
Church in Glan Conwy. It is about the third stone from the entrance gate. If
you would like a digital picture of it I can send you one tomorrow (its too
dark to take one now). There is a congregational chapel in Bryn Rhys which is
still going, but it doesn't have a grave yard.
I think that Ysgoldy is still standing, but I'm not 100% sure, I shall ask
the old men in the pub the next time I go there.
All the best
Alwyn
