The record you quote is quite likely. Just have to find some confirmation on
it now.
I see on 1901 that Louisa was living in Portsmouth with her widowed aunt,
Margaret Marshall, which is interesting as my wife's father was christened
Edward Marshall Maynard NEWBATT - we'd wondered where that came from.
I guess it's hand in pocket time for a certificate or two :(
