hi, i have a little info,
going by your date range i feel this my throw some light on your quest.
i am originaly from north wales, and, although now an "aussie", i still hold
my heritage sacred and as such have recently done a little research into my
own ansestory.
in my family tree, john emlyn roberts is my direct great great great uncle,
his older brother robert (jnr) is my g.g.grandfather. there are other
siblings, hugh, gwilyn,
mary ( whom you mentioned ) and another sister i have not as yet identified.
going backwards, their parents robert emlyn roberts snr, and his spouse anne
( nee banks ?? i think ).
hope this assists, and if im correct in the connection we would be 3rd
cousins, 3 times removed... hehe
cheers and kind regards.... cliff

Subject: [DEN] ROBERTS in Wrexham
Hello,
I am new to this list having just found an ancestor from Wrexham. I
have a
Mary ROBERTS born 1853 in Wrexham, Denbighshire, her father was John
ROBERTS
a collier.
She was married on 9th August 1876 to Edward WINDER in Barrow in
Furness,
Lancs.
I do not know anything else about her and wondered if anyone knew of her,
or could
tell me how to find out more.
There is a John Roberts in Wrexham Regis, a collier, on the 1881
Census, but
Mary's marriage certificate says he is deceased in 1876.
Hoping for some help,
Thank you
Shelagh in East Sussex.
