Thank you for the information. Yes, they did live there in 1891 and, in
fact, the mill remained in the family until the early 1950's when John -
the oldest son - widow sold it. My grandmother was Jennie - really Jane -
who was a school teacher. I am not sure when the mill came into the family.
My cousin who is John's granddaughter, said she was there once around 1950
and thought it was a distance off the road.

Take a look at
http://www.old-maps.co.uk/
and search for Llanrwst. Choose Denbighshire for the east of the valley
or Caernarfonshire for the west of the valley.
The map of the Denbighshire part of Llanrwst clearly shows Denbigh
Street and I can see Felin Isaf but I can't see Felin Uchaf.
You mave have to pan around a bit.
