Hi,
I am new to this list but experienced on others.
I have come accross an intriguing connection with St Asaph which I intend to
pursue.
In 1871 in Sandbach, Cheshire I have two families, MOSES and ALLEN, who
lived next door to each other. Both families had marriages into the LEA
family and the LEAs have connections with St Asaph.
The MOSES wife was Elizabeth nee WILLIAMS and her daughter Sarah married
Walter Caradoc ROBERTS at St Asaph in 1866.
Elizabeth's sister Margaret married Job LEA at Sandbach in 1858.
The WILLIAMS girls were "probably" born at St. Asaph around 1830 and their
father was Willam WILLIAMS.
Does anyone recognise any of this?
Regards,
Eric MILLWARD, Marple, Cheshire
