Before I go where others may well have trod before - does anyone know
anything of the MORGAN family, farmers, of 'Carreg y Llech', Tryddyn
(Treuddyn)?
1901 census returns show Joseph MORGAN, 31, head; Mary, 31, wife; Gladys P,
1, daughter and unmarried Edward, 33, Joe's brother.
In 1881, I believe the family are recorded at Tryddyn Langford and
consisting of:
Edward MORGAN 49 (Head)
Catherine 49 (Wife)
John (24) Son
Mary 20 Dau
Elizabeth 18 Dau
Edward 13 Son
Joseph 11 Son
Would 'Tryddyn Langford' and the farm 'Carreg y Llech' be one and the
same?
Joseph was my (1st) wife, Hilary MORGAN's grandfather by his elder son,
Idris (b 1901) and I remember staying with her aunt Gladys, at her farm
cottage, Tyn y Groesffordd (sp?), circa 1970.
Hilary's cousin Terrig, is the present incumbent.
Any info. most gratefully received.

Hi all,
I am new to this list and thought I should post something regarding my
research.
I am seeking family of Edward Williams, wife Ann, sons Edward and Thomas and
maybe more.
Thomas was born in Tryddyn in abt 1860.
They were later in or around Ruthin.
There is a pub in Llanbedr called the Griffin where Edward was the publican
when his son Edward was born c. 1862.
If anyone is also into Williams in these areas, please get in touch.
many thanks,
Take Care,
Pen
