Can SKS with access to the baptism or marriage registers for Wrexham be
willing to do a look-up please?
My ancestor Joseph OSBORN(E) aged 10 years was enumerated with a family
named MOSS on the 1841 Census living in Tuttle Street, Wrexham. According to
the Liverpool newspapers Joseph's father William OSBORNE, Bookbinder, died
in Wrexham 16 June 1833, age 45 years (about 1788), burial unknown so far.
Joseph's mother Jane OSBORNE and the rest of the family returned to
Liverpool and enumerated in 1841.
In a desperate attempt to get any information leading to my
4xgreatgrandfather's burial and birth I am seeking baptism information on
the MOSS family who Joseph lived with in 1841 to establish the maiden name
of the wife. The 1841 census states:
Tuttle Street, Wrexham, Wrexham Abbott.
Daniel MOSS aged 45 years = about 1796 a Sawyer - Not born in County
Mary aged 45 years = about 1796 Born in
County
Benjamin aged 20 years = about 1821 Born in
County
Harriett aged 15 years = about 1826 Born in
County
William aged 14 years = about 1827 Born in
County
James aged 12 years = about 1829 Born in
County
Joseph OSBORN aged 10 years = about 1831 Born in County
My thinking is the family may have been related in some way.
Any assistance would be gratefully received.
Thanks in anticipation.
Cherie
