Hi Anne and all,
Thanks for all your ideas.
Typically, I make one posting to a list and manage to get
essential details wrong. Robert Roberts was born in Kensington in
1860. His parents were John Roberts, b.1824 in Denbigh and his
mother Jane possibly Williams, of Colwyn, b.1823.
I'm assuming John and Jane married around 1848, as the first child
was born in 1849 in Kensington. I'm also assuming they married in
Denbigh, but it is only an assumption.
My main straw I'm clutching is the occupation, which might help
identify John. He was a tailor throughout his life. Their
children, by the way, were all born in Kensington.
Please let me know if anyone is interested in the family.
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I am interested in finding a Robert ROBERTS who had a daughter
Mary born
about 1849/1851 - this Mary grew up in Abergele, St. George area
of Wales
not farm from Colwyn Bay. Do you think there could be any
connection?
Perhaps when Robert and Mary moved to London they left Mary
behind?
Anne
