Hi Roger,
I had the same trouble with my 4xg grandfather! I finally worked it out that
when asked for POB he gave the last place he had come from!.
Eglwys Bach is only a few miles fom Llansanffraid ( Glan Conwy), so there is
a good chance of a connection, That is if it is the correct llansantffraid.
(check the county as there are about 4 in Wales ).
Cheers
Patricia

Subject: [DEN] Eglwysbach & Llansanffraid
Hi,
I have a William JONES living in Holywell on the 1851 and 1861 censuses
but his PoB is different on each of them.
I am pretty sure I have the same family. Address, dates, children's
names, ages etc all match but on the 1851 census it gives William as
born in Eglwysbach and on the 1861 census as born in Llansanffraid,
Denbighshire.
Would someone born in Eglwysbach also be connected in some way to
Llansanffraid?
Regards,
Roger Jones
