Hello Patricia,
Duplicated names are a problem. :) I was uncertain which Llansanffraid
it might be. But it says Denbigh, Llansanffraid on the 1861 census
page, so I am pretty sure it is Glan Conwy.
Thank you for this helpful bit of lateral thinking.
Kind regards,
Roger

Hi Roger,
I had the same trouble with my 4xg grandfather! I finally worked it
out
that
when asked for POB he gave the last place he had come from!.
Eglwys Bach is only a few miles fom Llansanffraid ( Glan Conwy), so
there
is
a good chance of a connection, That is if it is the correct
llansantffraid.
(check the county as there are about 4 in Wales ).
Cheers
Patricia
