Hi All,
I've been following this family and have found them in the 1901
census on Ancestry in Llanfwrog, Denbighshire. But I am finding it
hard to read all of the entry.
This is what I have so far:
2 Pen Lane[?], Llanfwrog, Ruthin, Denbighshire
John PROBERT, Head, Widr, 48, Architect Surveyor, own acc. Salop
Oswestry, E [English = language spoken]
John Wm PROBERT, Son, S, 23, [--?--] Denb. Ruthin Epileps --- from
---- ?, E
Geo Rees PROBERT, Son, S, 16, [--?--] Denb. Ruthin, E
There is no indication of any disability for John William in the
1881 or 1891 census.
If any one would be kind enough to check this and see if they can
fill in some of the blanks, I'd be most grateful.
I can send the image off list, or it can be found with the following
information on Ancestry -- note that it is indexed as ROSBERT, but I
am 100% sure that the family is PROBERT!
Name: John Rosbert
Age in 1901: 48
Estimated birth year: abt 1853
Relation: Head
Gender: Male
Where born: Oswestry, Shropshire, England
Civil parish: Llanfwrog
Ecclesiastical parish: St Mary and St Mwrog
County/Island: Denbighshire
Country: Wales
I am also interested in contacting anyone who is researching the
PROBERT family, although I have searched the Denbighshire Archives
back to 2000 and the name doesn't appear to have been mentioned before!
Thank you for your help,
Rosemary,
