Hi Ian
Joseph Taylor was born in Hampton in Arden in Warwickshire but settled in Birmingham.
Possibly in Nottingham around 1884 when James a son was born. Certainly back in Birmingham
when my Grandmother was born in 1891.
His trade as stated on the 1891 was a "Bricky", but was known to do general
labouring, and then later worked for the Birmingham Corporation.
