Gill a rushed email before I go out just to thank you for taking so much
trouble. I'll sit down later and consider the info that you've supplied.
I think I have the Thomas Driscoll that I'm looking for but what is
immediately weird is that a John Griffiths is included in the list and it
was a Jesse Griffiths who married Sarah Driscoll( Thomas's dau) in Wrexham.
Coincicdence again, I expect. Do you know if there is a similar list of
Irish in Chester and surrounds? I'll contact again later to-day?, Regards,
Bill.

My search for Sarah Driscoll finds here marrying in the Independent
Chapel
in Wrexham. Her father was Irish and so there is a fair chance that she
was
a Catholic at the time (1845). She obviously married in her home
parish
but
can someone kindly tell me what denomination the Independent Chapel
is/was?
Thanks in anticipation, Bill.
