Civil registration did not come in until 1837, so before then there are no
certificates as such.. What you will need is a copy from the Church
register, which you would get from the County Record office at Ruthin. They
do charge a small fee for researching. You could put a posting on the Clwyd
Mailing list as it is a busy list and someone may have a transcribed copy of
the parish records.

Sorry to bother you with this but can someone tell me how much it is for
me to buy a certificate from abroad, I'm hoping to obtain an ancestor's
