Thank you very much indeed for sending this image. It's a great help. I
think my friend must not have noticed it in 1871 because of the ages of the
parents. They're ten and more years older in 1871 than they would be ten
years later in 1881. I think the enumerator must have put 69 and 65 instead
of something like 45 and 42 which they would have been if their ages in 1881
are correct. The 1881 ages make much more sense in relation to the ages of
the children - otherwise the mother would have been 59 at the birth of the
youngest child and 48 at the birth at the eldest! Either that or the parents
were refusing to give sensible answers. The children are a good match which
confirms we have the correct family in the same row of houses and the
missing children are shown as well.
