I would imagine they are farms or houses. Fron (mutated form of
Bron...meaning breast or near) I would think that breast of a hill may be
the case, bellaf meaning furthest and ganol meaning centre. There is a
house near me called Fron Ganol, that is why I am pretty sure they are not
villages. There is a village called Fron in the Nantlle valley.

Can anybody tell me a little bit about Fron-Bellaf please, my ancestors
lived there and he was a farmer in the 1841 & 1851 census, I can see it
on the Ordnance Map and its by Fron Ganol, are these names of Farms or
Villages.
