Thank you for taking the trouble to reply to my query.
Given what you tell me, the birth might have been in a flat above a shop.
I will try the Clwyd list.
Regards
Margaret

Subject: Re: [DENBIGHSHIRE] 45 Wellington Rd Rhyl
Hi Margaret,
I used to live in Rhyl, and my wife was born in Wellington Road, which
starts at High Street. This is how it was in the 50s and 60s. The next
street off Wellington Road is Bodfor Street, the corner of which was the
Midland (now HSBC) bank, and that is number 23., and is opposite the Town
Hall. Then came the Police Station, then a pub, and then several shops and
then Windsor Street, which I guess would be somewhere near the 40s. There
was a fish shop on the corner, then more shops including the Viola Dairy,
then the rest of the block was the Co-op shop. I don't recall there being
many houses along there, maybe someone else will have a better idea. The
main point is that it was a commercial area, possibly the shops may have
had
living accommodation above them.
You might get a better response if you post your enquiry to the Clwyd
List.
Hope this helps,
Keith in N Z
