Llangelynin is a parish near Tywyn (Towyn) Merioneth, and it would not be
unusual for it to be known as Celynin, so I think you're stuck with
Merioneth.
Where is she in 1841? Would it help to know if the answer is Yes or No to
the question Born in this county? Where was her mother from? Maybe she'd
gone home to give birth and so the baby may have been born somewhere
different to where she lived?

Subject: [DENBIGHSHIRE] Is Celynin a place in Denbighshire?
Burke's Landed Gentry 5th ed. 1875 vol. 1 p. 281 mentions Pryce
MAURICE,
rector of Celynin and vicar of Towyn (Tywyn), co. Merioneth.
His daughter Anne Susannah appears in the 1851 Census (in Bathwick,
Somerset) and her birth place is given as "Derbyshire", which I think is a
mistake.
Could Celynin be in co. Denbigh?
