I've had second thoughts! I now think they were living on the outskirts of Llangollen
in 1871!

which can be zoomed in on to give some excellent detail.
There is a place could "The Duke" (probably a 'big house') overlooking
Berwyn station and the Chain Bridge, and this is more likely to be the place mentioned in
the 1871 census??? Other places adjacent on the census like Hafod y Maidd; Hafod y Coed;
Tan y Bedw ... are close by!
