Message Board Post:
Bernard Coll was recorded working as a farm labourer at Burton Hall, Rossett, in 1911. He
was from Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. Are there any records of people employed at
Burton Hall around that time, or any other record of him in the area?
Bernard next appears in Halifax in 1930, when he marries Elizabeth Wraith, they were
described as widower and widow. He was then a stone worker in a quarry.
We have no trace of Bernard between 1911 and 1930, and have been unsuccessful in tracing
his first wife.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Patrick
