Dear all,
I'm new to the list - in search of my gggrandmother HARRIETT PARRY.
She was allegedly born 1854 in Halkyn, Flintshire.
At her entry record for the workhouse in Holywell, in January 1877, she and her daughter
Harriett, aged 3, were described as 'removed from Wrexham'.
Firstly if my geography is right then Denbighshire is where I'd find Wrexham?
I believe that sometime before 1877, but no further back than 1871, she came to Wrexham
and was possibly married to an ISAAC PARRY.
What I'm asking for is: does anyone have access to any workhouse records of the
Wrexham area and if so can they check for my Harriett?
Lastly, if it is possible, if she was married to an Isaac Parry, could SKS look for a
death or divorce even during 1876 of an Isaac Parry? Harriett gave birth to Isaac's
second child 4 months later in the Holywell workhouse.
Thanks for your time
Heath Stoyle
