Is there a website of the Wrexham cemetery that you can get a list of those who are buried there?

Thanks for this Gaynor, Sorry I didn't recognise you as a previous contact. The tree is many branched and I make the fatal error of trying to deal with many branches at the same time; with obvious complications!
Is the marriage you have in Capel Garmon 17/6/1837 that of "your" Evan (son of John & Margaret;I believe)? If so then maybe the marriage I found (to Catherine Williams in Capel Garmon ) is for "my" Evan (son of Lewis and Dorothy). The fact that he was a widower makes a bit of sense in that there is a son (William) to "my" Evan who was born before that marriage.
Is "your" Evan's granddaughter Mary Ellen Morris the daughter of Cadwaladr Morris? i.e. did Margaret Roberts marry Cadwaladr Morris? The censuses of 1901 and 1911 give Richard & Mary Davies living in Blaenau Ffestiniog along with Cadwaladr. The latter was born in Rhydlydan near Pentrefoelas.
I have just realised that this info may have come from you in the first place... oops. Sorry. I am very disorganised.
I'd love to have any details and photos you have. I'll send my e-mail address in a personal link.
Best wishes & Happy 2013
John

I am searching for a John Williams who married either a female Jones or a female Turner, I am unsure which, only that he was a brother in law to Edward Jones of Nantwich, Bookseller who died in 1827 and mentioned John Williams as his brother in law in a Will. He stated the address as Cyra near Wrexham Denbigshire but I cant find Cyra so I think it must be a Welsh abbreviation for an area. I am also searching for a William Jones who was the brother of Edward Jones, also mentioned in the Will as living in that area. Edward Jones was married to Mary Turner (of Shavington Hall). The other person mentioned in the Will was Benjamin Blythe Powell. I would like to hear from anyone with any information on these people please.

Hello rozfisher,
Thanks for getting back but since I posted I have found William, he was baptised at Gresford but was baptised 09.09.1798 son of John & Margaret Maddocks nee Jones. John & Margaret were also married at Gresford. I also have John's will which all tie in with William.
What I am now struggling to find is a baptism of John Maddocks who was on the 1851 census (Maddox) aged 81 a freeholder of Parkside Allington Rossett. I guess he was therefore born 1769/1770. The only one I have found is John baptised at Holt abode Common Wood 23.06.1769 son of Jonathan and Mary. Common wood is only 2 miles I believe from Parkside Allington? Also John and Margaret are buried at Gresford as was the eldest son John who died aged 23.
Margaret Jones was born in Llay in 1764 but again there are two one with a father William and the other with father John. So which one is mine is anyones guess. Any assistance you can give on this would be appreciated. Perhaps we are part of the same branch. Eileen

William son of Edward, labourer & his wife Elizabeth of Allington, born 17 Feb 1805 baptised with his brother John born 12 Oct 1810, on 2 Dec 1810 at All Saints, Gresford.
Allington is very close to Gresford.
I have Maddocks from Rossett which is also very near Gresford.

Evan Roberts married Mary Morgan on 23 Apr 1835 in Llanbadarnfawr, Cardiganshire (where they are still living on the 1851 census).
Llanbadarnfawr, Radnorshire is a completely different place!
But which Llanrhaeadr in Denbighshire?? Llanrhaeadr yng Nghinmeirch, to the south of Denbigh, or Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant, to the west of Oswestry? Gut-reaction would suggest the first?
