Hi everyone
Could anyone help break down my Jones brick wall?
John Jones bn c1816 in Ruabon married Miriam Roberts bn c1816 in Pen Y Cae in 1837. Their first child Hannah and they dsecond child John were born in Ruabon accoring to census returns for 1851 onwards in Stoke on Trent. I have failed to find them in either the Wales or England census for 1841.
I believe John's mother was named Elizabeth as she was buried in Stoke onTrent with one of John's siblings.I think the father was also named John.
I would dearly love to go back a generationor even find my John's birth. So far I have drawn a blank.
I would appreciate any help as this has been driving me nuts for years.
As usual John was a coal miner, and Miriam's fther was a farmer.
Thanks
Dorothy

I can find only one Cadwaladr registered in Wrexham and that was in 1884. None of the others I found were from round that area. It might be worth looking at http://www.northwalesbmd.org.uk/bmd_welcome.html
where you can download an order form with the correct reference number on it.
The 1901 census possibly has Cadwaladr (Cade in the index)living in Moss, parents John and Mary.
Hope this is of some help.
Mike

I am really stuck. I am trying to find the birth certificate for Cadwaladr Jones born 1885 around the area of Broughton, Denbighshire, Wales i have his marriage certificate and know his fathers name is John Jones
I really need to know how to narrow down the number of results as there are a few and i really cant afford to buy all of them to find the right one. I have found a census which makes me think his mothers name is Mary but i just dont know the only definate info is his dads name.
any help and advice welcome
Thank you
J
