she would be my great grand ma, however i have no family that i can check this out with, the only thing i know about her is that her first marriage was to william jones and they had 2 girls annie ellen and mary louisa jones, i have them on the 1901 cencus living with williams parents in manchester, then i have the 3 ladies deaths also in manchester
according to my grand dads birth cert his father was thomas davies, and at the time of death annie was buried as a jones, this goes to prove that thomas and annie never married, but as annie was born a davies she reverted back to using that name as thats the names on the birth cert for my grand dad,
my grand dads harry davies b 1922 chorlton d 1995 chorlton and is in manchester southern cemertary.
however grand dad harry;s wedding cert states that his father was a harry davies deceased!!! if your not confussed by this then well done becasue i certainly cant fathom out what has gone on here, can anyone help please?

Edward Samuel FIELD (1849-1925) and his wife Hannah NEWMAN (1849-1927) were
married in Rotherhithe in 1876, and had 5 children there between 1877 and
1887 before moving to Wrexham. Their sixth child, Frederick Walter, was born
there in 1892.
Edward Samuel FIELD was the brother of my great grandfather William Henry
FIELD (1843-1899) and I am interested in finding out more about his family
and descendants. Is there anyone on this list who has any information about
this family?
