I have a Edward Davies married to Mary Elizabeth Jones, they had a boy called Arthur William Davies in 17th Jan 1869, in Chesterton, North Wales. Mister Edward Davies was an Ironmonger and his son Arthur was a Wesleyan Minister. I haven't found any more information about Edward Davies and his wife which both are my great grand parents.

Hello there. My town (Wrexham) was a major tanning area in North Wales. My Dad actually worked in one of the tanneries in Rivulet Road when he first left school c 1927. There was also another large tannery on Pentrefelin, an area now known as the shopping centre Island Green (can be searched).
