With a great deal of help I have found the marrage of Gwen Lloyd to John Parry married Llanifair Talhairn parish church 5th Oct 1816.
Have not found baptisms as Llanfair and Llangerneiw are missing, does this mean I have come to the end of the line for tracing Gwen ?
Thanks Valerie
Thank you Patricia and friend for getting back to me with the marriage info.
Do you know if Benjamin was actually a Roberts or a Thomas? The names seem
to be too different to be confused.
Regards, Geraldine.

Hi Cath,
As you will probably have realised jane davies is a very common name in
these parts!
If you go onto the Denbighshire record office site and scroll down to
llangernyw you will see they have the parish records on micro film from the
1500's.

>From their home page you will be able to contact them if you have an
enquiry. They do search for you at a cost, which compared to travelling to
Ruthin from far flung places is very reasonable. I do not get to Ruthin
often i'm afraid or else I would do a look up for you.
May I suggest you also post your request on the Clwyd mailing list as that
covers the area and more and is a very busy list, with listers nearer to the
offices willing to do look ups.
Good luck
patricia
