Dear Alwyn,
Thank you so very much for taking the time to answer my query and for
spelling the name properly for me.
I cannot wait to visit my son so I can pop along to see where my great
grandfather lived.
What a lovely lot of helpful people you are on this mailing list.
Kind regards
Marjorie

The name should be Tal-y-Cafn, Eglwysfach. Tal y Cafn is a small hamlet on
the A470 between Llandudno and Llanrwst, it is about two miles or so from the
village of Eglwysfach.
All the best
Alwyn

Hello Joanne,
Thank you so much for your time and information.
First visit to my son in Rhyl will find me wending way to Eglwysbach to see
where my great grandfather was born.
Again, many thanks indeed.
Kind regards
Marjorie

I live in Rhyl, and I think it's about 20 miles to Eglwysbach (Eglwysfach)
You will be able to get exact directions from multimap.co.uk

Hello Everyone,
I am new to researching my ancestors in Wales and have an ancestors birth
certificate in the year 1869 with an address, Taly Cafu, Eglwysfach,
Registration District Llanrwst.
Last week my son relocated to the land of his forefathers in Rhyl, is it
anywhere near there?
Regards
Marjorie
Hello everyone
My 3x Great Grandfather, Ebenezer Hayes, is said to have been head game
keeper on Lord Denbeigh's estate. Could someone please point me in the
right direction to clarify this information?
Thanks
