Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
A week or so back, somebody on either the Clwyd, Gwynedd or Denbigh list was
looking for information from a Memorial Inscription in Eglwysfach Cemetery
As long as it's not P...ing down with rain, I shall be going to Eglwysfach
cemetery, digital camera in hand, to take some photos of my wife's family's
memorials, this week.
If the list member who wrote (or any other list member) still wants
information (or a photo) from Eglwysfach, please let me have the details.
Regards
Alwyn
Hello all,
As many of you will have realised, the list has been "down" for most of
Sunday.
We've now heard officially that _most_ of the Rootsweb lists have been
down - so it isn't just us.
We're up and running again - BUT - according to Rootsweb, the BAD NEWS
is that all emails posted during that 12 hours have been LOST.
So - if you posted a message to the list on Sunday, and it doesn't
appear in the next few hours, I'm afraid that you will have to post it
again.
Sorry ! These things happen, unfortunately :-(

A few weeks ago someone on the Denbigh list passed my request for Gibbon on to someone that was not a member. I was out of town and viewed it through a web-based email program, which automatically deleted it after so many days. Hugh didn't leave his email address for me to reply to in the body of the email. I would like to contact him and thank him for sending me a lengthy email in such detail. I know he spent some time composing it.
Would the contact for Hugh please emaill me? I would greatly appreciate it!
Have a good one!
God bless the USA and her Allies!
