But one of the biggest problems about teaching history in Schools in Wales
is
that children ARE taught about the Romans, 1066 and Henry VIII. But
ask
them
about Cilmeri, Breconshire, December 11th, 1282; ask them about the
martyr
from Cefn Brith, Llangamarch, Breconshire; ask them about "the Family" in
Talgarth, Breconshire and they, no more than their teachers, have a clue
about the
monumental impotance of these events in the history of their own
country.

Hallo Alwyn,
Please let me know about the Family in Talgarth, Breconshire. My family
come from around that area and I would be really interested. I am also
interested in the martyr from Cefn Brith, Llangamarth and Cilmeri,
Breconshire but mostly in Talgarth as my family lived in that area for a
long time.
Best wishes,
Sue in Suffolk
