I'm trying to track places named in an old travel diary that belonged to an
aunt of mine. In it she mentions visiting places in the 1950's, associated
with my great grandparents. I'm having trouble trying to identify a couple
of places. One is Aber Clydach (?, where my gr-grandfather David Powell and
his wife Agnes (Thomas)lived prior to migrating to South australia in the
late 1850's. My aunt mentions also visiting David's grandfather's grave at
Talybont-on-Usk. The graves were in the Aber Valley (the Glyn) next to the
church.
Is anyone able to help me identify these site more precisely?

Dear Glenys and/or Robert,
I know this area well, and also know someone who knows it even better. It's
a beautiful area in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
I will contact you off list later today with further details.
Kind regards,
John
