Dear Listers,
I've just uploaded four more county maps onto my website feature on
Tallis's Topographical Dictionary of England and Wales.
These high resolution maps, dating from circa 1850, show the English
counties of Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire,
which lie along the Welsh border.
I have also uploaded the 'C' section of the alphabetical gazetteer. I
hope to add the 'D' section in two or three weeks time.
You can access my transcript of Tallis's Topographical Dictionary at

Kind regards,
John
