Subject: Rosser Cefn-Coed-y-Cymmer
Hi Listers, I am new to the list and just wanted to post my
Breconshire
interest.
My g-grandfather was born May 16, 1845 in Cefn-Coed-y-Cymmer and his name
was
Reese Rosser. When he was 15 months old they moved to Aberdare
Valley (I
don't know if this is also in Breconshire). I have no idea of his parents
names. A family biographical sketch mentions that his father lost his
memory
in a pit explosion in 1852. No mention at all of the mother. Reese
and
father immigrated to the US in 1853, probably in Pennsylvania. Does this
fit
in with anyone elses research?
