I have hesitated to ask anyone's help in checking census records for me, not
wanting to take advantage of anyone's kindness. I am out of work and in poor
health at this time, and not able to spend money on my research. Lately I
have
come up with bunch of brick walls.
If anyone would be so kind as to check the 1841 and 1851 censuses for me, I
would be
eternally grateful.
1841 Census
Breconshire
Mariah Kelly born about 1825-1826 (approx. age 15-16)
Brynmawr, Brecon, Wales
She married Jonathan Evans, but may have
still been in parent's household during this census.
We are looking for parent's and sibling names and
also info on Jonathan Evans family.

Monmouthshire??
any John L. Griffiths
in the area born about 1815 to about 1825. (Lived in Nantyglo about
1844-45).
Father possibly is William Griffiths.
There is a John L. Griffiths born in Bedwellty, about 1824, that
might possibly be our relative but we are not sure as yet. He
is a woolen weaver.
We thought he was a metal worker.

The 1881 Census says Jonathan Evans was born in Twyin, Cardiganshire.
The closest I can come up with is Tywyn, Gwynedd (maybe it
was Cardiganshire back then?)
Jonathan Evans born about 1821-1822 .
could already be married to Mariah Kelly from Brynmawr.
He was a coal miner in 1881 census.
We have no info on parents or siblings.

1851 Census Monmouthshire
William Griffiths, born 1844-1845, in Nantyglo
(father was possibly John L. Griffiths)
need info on his entire family.
