Good morning Mair and all GLA & BRE Listers,
Thank you to all who looked up this one.
Thanks to Jack (on GLA & WLS-BRE) I now know that William BAGLEY, the son,
was in Brecknock in 1851.
Ref: 89/f656/ page 3
living at Llanerchgoidlan. [cannot find this on my current maps?]
William Bagley, Servant, U, 23y, farm Lab, b.Hereford.
I haven't yet found the father, John BAGLEY, but it looks like I'll need to
join the HEReford List for his 1851, 1841 and birth entries.
William's age of 23y ties in with being age 25 at marriage, and b.1828 in a
previously unconfirmed letter.
Once again my thanks to all.
It's slow work, but so much fun. More fun if we're able to 'stumble' on
each
of our family 'finds' ourselves. But, of course, we can't all buy every CD
or book we need, so these lists are invaluable. Who instigated them? Does
anyone know?.
