Hi Jack,
You may get an unfinished reply - it just disapeared into the blue yonder!.
Anyway, I think the William in Brecknock is worth checking out as the
families travelled in and around the neighbouring counties prior to 1900.
I'll do as you suggest, and look for John, the father in Herefordshire.
Many thanks.
If you need a look-up in Bristol, do let me return the favour.
TTFN Shirley.

Subject: Re: [WLS-BRE] 1851 Census for BAGLEY
Hi.... Shirley
Only one Bagley in Glamorgan in 1851....
Census 1851 Swansea, Ref:- H.O. 107/2466, E.D. 21.
John Bagley , Lodger, Widower, aged 67, (superintendant Stamp Office) (b)
Paddington, Middlesex (c1784)
******************
One William Bagley in Brecknock in 1851
Ref 89/f656/ page 3
William Bagley , Servant, Unmarried, aged 23, farm Lab, (b) Hereford,
Herefordshire, living at Llanerchgoidlan.
I would look for his father in Herefordshire?
Best wishes...Jack Hayes.
[1] John BAGLEY guestimated birth 1805. He was a Labourer in 1854 - per
son's marriage certificate:
[2] William BAGLEY, b.ca 1829 (m.1854 age 25yrs in BRE)
I'm hoping there will be a wife for John, and siblings for William.
Thank you Shirley
