Dear Listers,
This week's 'Retrospective Images of Wales', just uploaded onto my
website, features:
1. The Old Town of Tenby, the Pembrokeshire seaside resort. This
feature was first shown on 'Images of Wales' in May 1998 (seven photos).
2. The Limestone Quarry at Penwyllt in an isolated part of the Upper
Swansea Valley, Breconshire. As well as an exploration of the quarry,
this feature includes photos of an old railway line, and an explanation
of the unlikely connection between Penwyllt and a 19th century Spanish
opera singer!!.
This feature was first shown on 'Images of Wales' in October 1998
(eleven pictures).
