Hi Listers,
I've just added another webpage to the "Wales of Old" feature on my
website.
This latest addition features a photograph and series of letters
relating to the EAMES family, originally from Herefordshire, but who
live in Beaufort and Brynmawr (Breconshire) from the 1870s onwards. The
letters provide fascinating evidence of life in industrial South Wales
in the second half of the 19th century and help to explain why so many
from Wales chose to leave their homeland in the hope of finding a better
life overseas.
The photograph, letters, and family history details have been kindly
supplied by Ruth Kelly of Lehi, Utah, USA.

Best wishes,
John
