Hello Rob,
I am the BRE County Coordinator and Wales Project Supervisor for FreeCen
that is bringing all of the UK Census to you Free of Charge.
I'm transcribing part of the 1891 census for Llangattock, BRE and this
fiche happens to cross over into the MON area where Llangattock
overflows.
I show the family on King Street in Beaufort for the 1891. That is if it
is the correct family:
Fiche RG12/4575 Folio 15, Page 88
132 King's St
Wilson Henry head M M 78 Tailor E CGN Llanbaden W
Wilson Sarah wife M F 59 CMN Llanpumpsaint
W
Benger Edmund boardr S M 52 Coal Miner SOM Frome E
The 'W' at the end of the line means they spoke Welsh, the 'E' shows the
boarder spoke English.
FreeCen surely could use more transcribers for both Monmouth, Breconshire
and Radnor. If you have access to a fiche reader and 2 hours a week or
more to help with the project, FreeCen supplies the Fiche, the Program
and the Support to put all of the 19th UK Census Free On-line!!!
Best wishes,
