If anyone happens to be looking at the Llanwenarth 1841 census could they
possibly keep an eye out please for my 2g-gm Mary Ann DAVIES aged about 5 or
6 living in the same household as a John DAVIES who would appear be her
father (I know they don't show relationships in 1841). I think I have found
her in 1851 here in Gilwern, BRE
CRICKHOWELL Enumeration District HO107:2490
Parish of LLANELLY
JONES Daniel, h, m, 35, carpenter , CDG Llanddewi, Gilwern, /f343/p12
JONES Mary, w, m, 36, , BRE Bronllys, Gilwern, /f343/p12
DAVIES Mary Ann , sv, u, 15, ho servant , MON Llanwenarth , Gilwern,
/f343/p12
JONES John, sv, u, 29, cabinetmaker, RAD, Gilwern, /f343/p12
but I would love to see if this is the right one by trying to confirm her
father is John (my 3g-gf is John as I know from Mary Ann's marriage cert)
Many thanks
Hugh Wallis
