Hello Richard,
You might be interested in the following Breconshire 1851 census entries,
as Ebenezer is not that common of a name.
1851 British Census, County of Breconshire
CRICKHOWELL Enumeration District HO107:2490
Parish of Llangynidr, Town of Dukestown
REES Ebenezer, h, m, 27, coal miner & harper, MON Sirhowy, Dukestown,
/f97/p33
REES Mary, w, m, 26, , BRE Cwmdu, Dukestown, /f97/p33
(and then next door..)
REES Elizabeth, h, w, 54, barm bender?, GLA Cardiff, Dukestown, /f97/p33
BEVAN Mary, gd, u, 4, , BRE Llangynidr, Dukestown, /f97/p33
-------------
Then this was doubly interesting. Notice that the oldest child was born
MON and the younger children born CMN. it looks as though this family
moved around a good bit.

(BTW, the Maria CAFFIN in this entry is actually Mariah CALLEN. She just
happens to be the half-sister of my GG Grandfather Absalom CALLEN.)

Morgan's father.>>
Have you been able to find and purchase the marriage certificate for this
marriage, or do you only have a Parish Register entry? The certificate
would give you the name of Mary Rees' father and both father's
occupations. The occupations might give you a clue as to where to look
and Mary's father might be found in a 1851 census index.
I live in the US and personally use Peter Norman's Four Corners Search.
I can use a credit card and don't have to purchase and be charged for a
sterling cheque. You can see his service at:
