Hello Jack
Thank you for looking at the 1851 census for the Herring family. I have
passed this information on to the U.S. I know they were in the States by 1853
as I am researching (along with others) the Gwynne family. Some of the
Gwynne family are listed as passengers on the Ship Rbert Kelly which arrived
New York in May 1853. Next itemised after the Gwynnes were David, Mary and
three children Herring, followed by Geo. Price and family. It is believed
that Geo. Price came from Clyro. Later in life Geo. Price, widower married
Mary Herring (widow) in Michigan.
Thanks again
Pam
