Hello Jack,
Appreciate your help. Can I take it that Bryngaer is similar to Waun Lapria - a small
hamlet on the outskirts of, in this case Llangattock, which is where Evan and Sarah are
listed in the workhouse in 1861. My gt. grandfather, their son, was born there in Dec
1861. The way I am thinking is that of the two lists you sent me Bryngaer would be nearer
to Llanelly than Beaufort, which is nearer to Ebbw Vale. This would suggest that the Evan
listed at Bryngaer would be a more likely contender. Not to say I dismiss the other. The
more I can pin down, the easier it will be searching when I come down in June. Hope I am
not confusing you - my family are long sufferers! My excuse is I get there in the end -
just prefer to take the scenic route.
Be interested to know what you think.

Once again I want to thank everyone for their help with my search.
However, I just have one question. Where would I find Bryngaer?
