Elizabeth VAUGHAN was born 2 July 1870 in Rassau to parents John (Charles)
VAUGHAN and Mary Ann (née DAVIES).
Her younger half brother George Thomas VAUGHAN was born 30 November 1873 in
Beaufort Wells, Rassau - was Beaufort Wells the same place as what is now
shown on the map as Beaufort?
Was Rassau in Brecknock or Glamorgan then?
If anyone has the 1871 census for Rassau and happens to come across them
(not G.T. of course), please could they let me know any details? I would be
most grateful. I have the family in 1881 - they were in Risca by then.
Many thanks
