I would be most grateful if you would permit me to post this message to
your list:
My 2nd cousin (3 times removed) Margaretta LAWFORD (b.c.1863) married
(1890, Barton Regis) Thomas Langford SALTER (b.c.1859). The couple were
recorded in the 1901 Census living in Penarth, with two children: Thomas E.
SALTER (9) and Francis L. SALTER (8). The father Thomas's occupation was
described as Chartered Accountant Clerk. By chance, I discovered (Free
BMDs) a 3rd child, Margaretta SALTER (b.1902) born in the Crickhowell
District - so they probably moved from Penarth, but stayed in Wales.
Does anyone on the list know this family?
I would be grateful for advice on how to trace the three children and their
descendants.
Best wishes,
