I am searching for information on the family of Rees and Mary (DAVIES) GRIFFITHS who were married on 17 Feb 1837 in Capel Callwen, Brecon, Wales (acc. to IGI information).
This is the suspected family of my gr-gr-grandmother Diana GRIFFITHS. In 1860, the family lived in Gallia County, Ohio in the US, but I don't know where they were before that. If some kind soul has access to a census for the area of Capel Callwen and could see if the above-mentioned Rees and Mary Griffiths are there prior to and/or after 1860, it might help me narrow down my search a little.
I KNOW that I should not be searching across the sea until I know more from stateside information, but this family is driving me just a little loony. :-) Any help is greatly appreciated.
Kindest regards,

That wasn't too bad, but Ann is a bit more difficult. Do you have a copy
of the marriage certificate for Ann and William? Can you tell me Ann's
father's name and occupation?
This is The Ann Williams that was born GLA, Langyfelach. She is two
years off in age and married at the time, but that could have changed in
three years... This one really seems a bit of a stretch.
